P.T.S.D. (Probing / Tracing / Sounding / Dwelling) is a kinetic light installation about the persistence of experience and the ongoing process of revisiting, reinterpreting, and learning to live with what has left a lasting mark.
The two sides operate as temporal fields: one carries what has already happened, the other holds what is still forming. Between them, a vertical bar of light acts as a point where action becomes reflection. Smart glass panels partially obscure what is visible. They do not erase, they change the way something can be seen. The glass becomes a mechanism of processing: an attempt to soften, reinterpret, or simply live with what cannot be removed.
The title expands as Probing, Tracing, Sounding, Dwelling. The work does not refer to trauma as a fixed diagnosis, but to the mechanics of a trace — how an event is probed, how it leaves a path, how it resonates, and how it continues to dwell inside a changing structure. Experience does not disappear. It is absorbed, blurred, displaced, and carried forward.
